Patricia Ann Gorton

Patricia “Pat” Ann Gorton was born on February 17, 1946 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Francis B. Gorton and Rita O’Brien Gorton. She departed this life peacefully, surrounded by those she deeply loved, on Friday, March 11, 2016.

Pat was a dedicated and devoted participant of Bayside Community Network, Inc. for 40 years. During this time she worked on various projects and developed many close and lifelong friendships. Pat was a simple girl at heart; loving a good laugh, a warm meal and time spent with those she cherished. Her passion was for the one and only man in her life, Elvis. Pat was an avid participant of Cecil County Special Olympics.

Pat enjoyed visiting with her family in Rhode Island. She enjoyed attending dances at the Elkton VFW and local Elvis tribute shows. Pat took pride in her appearance, always making sure her hair and nails were fashionable.

Pat is survived by one brother and two sisters:  Robert Gorton of North Carolina; Rita Marcoux of Rhode Island; and Donna Perry of Vermont. She is also survived by her niece Denise De Santis of Rhode Island. She was proceeded in death by her brother Michael Gorton.

Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Cheri Dupree, will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 11:00am at Crouch Funeral Home, PA., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00am until the time of the service.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
