Ovaline Alma Clausius

Ovaline Alma Clausius, age 70, of North East, Maryland, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2004, at Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, Maryland. Born in Seneca, South Carolina, on July 27, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Bart and Rivers Viola Jenkins Certain. She was a resident of Cecil County for over 37 years. Mrs. Clausius was a homemaker. She loved hunting, fishing, and raising animals. Mrs. Clausius is survived by her husband of 45 years, Joseph J. Clausius, North East, Maryland; her sons, John E. Clausius, Cecilton, Maryland, and Conrad Clausius, Rising Sun, Maryland; brother, Melvin Certain, Seneca, South Carolina; sister, Cecil Rainey, Seneca, South Carolina; and 5 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 18, 2004, in Union Cemetery, Elkton, Maryland. The Rev. Kenneth H. Murray will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Elkton, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in her honor to the charity of your choice.
