Opal Marie Nojunas

Opal Marie Nojunas, age 53 of North East, MD.; passed away, Thursday, October 4, 2007 surrounded by her beloved family. Marie was born in Elkton, MD on November 8, 1953. Marie owned and operated O'Marie's Florist and Wedding Chapel on Main Street in Elkton. She enjoyed spending her time painting and doing arts and crafts. She enjoyed traveling with her family and most of all her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Albert Albie Nojunas, son, Marty Dill, Jr. of South Carolina. Daughter, Angela Dill and companion Randy Reeves of North East, MD. Son, Stephen C. Dill and wife Jocelyn A. Dill of Elkton, MD. Mother, Mary Smith of Elkton, MD. Father, Robert Smith and wife Cindy Smith of Elkton, MD. Father-in-law, Michael Nojunas and the late Martha Nojunas of North East, MD and sister-in-law, Jeanie Nojunas of North East, MD. Brother, Robert Smith and wife Donna Smith of Elkton, MD. Brother, John Smith and wife Patty Smith of Charlestown, MD. Two grandsons and six granddaughters. Many nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her Grandmothers; Middy Wyant and Rebecca Wyant; Grandfather Ernest Smith and Sister Virginia C. Smith. Funeral service will be held at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 12:00 PM. Friends and family may call from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Rev. Richard Moore will officiate. Interment will be at North East Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Opal Nojunas Funeral Fund in care of Crouch Funeral Home.
