Norman L. Tyrie

Norman L. Tyrie, 84 of North East, MD, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 with his loving family by his side.

Born in Lafayette, IN, on January 5, 1932, he was the son of the late Floyd and Gladys (Heins) Tyrie.

Mr. Tyrie served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy.  He retired in 1987 after service as First Vice President for Union Locals in Philadelphia, NJ and PA.

He enjoyed boating and fishing.

Survivors include his beloved wife: Rita E. Tyrie; children: Jeff Tyrie of North East, MD, Randy Tyrie of Elkton, MD, and Juli Raymond of Fort Wayne, IN; his sister: Connie Huston of Fort Wayne, IN; 9 grandchildren and  13 great grandchildren.

Memorial services, conducted by Frank C. McFadden will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until service time.
