Nolen J. “Buddy” Howell, 80 of North East, MD, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016.
Nolen was born on November 4, 1935, and served during the Korean War in the Army.
He was a retired Supervisor of Shultz Mobile Home and a Chief Custodian of Cecil County Public Schools.
Along with his membership to the V.F.W. Post 6027, he enjoyed decoy carving, NASCAR, boxing, dancing and karaoke.
Survived by two sons: Joseph N. Howell (Elizabeth) of North East, MD and Mark N. Howell (Michelle) of Elkton, MD; a sister: Florence Howell Clifton of Wilmington, DE; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his wife, Barta Inez Howell on January 5, 1998.
Services will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Crouch Funeral Home,127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning one hour prior to service. Jim DeBusk will be officiating.
Interment with full military honors will follow services in Conowingo Baptist Cemetery, Conowingo, MD.
