Nellie M. Moore

Nellie M. Moore, 61 of North East, MD, died Monday, November 5, 2007 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Montgomery, AL, on June 24, 1946, she was the daughter of Virginia Mewhorter Hall of Montgomery, AL and the late Jimmy Hall. Mrs. Moore was the loving wife of George Moore of North East, MD. Mrs. Moore worked at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Army Research Lab in Human Resources for over 28 years. She was a member of Union Methodist Church, Aberdeen, MD and enjoyed volunteering at many other community activities. In addition to her husband and mother, survivors include: one daughter: Kimberly Marie Moore of Aberdeen, MD; three sons: Marston O. Moore of North East, MD; Lamond R. Moore of Montgomery, AL; George Moore, Jr. and his wife Angie of Ft. Leonardwood, MO; 4 grandsons: Gujuan M. Moore of North East, MD; Isiah G. Moore of Aberdeen, MD; Kevin J. Moore of Ft. Leonardwood, MO; Tyler A. Moore of Ft. Leonardwood, MO; two granddaughters: Tiffany M. Bunker of Aberdeen, MD; Shaneika D. Williams of DE; and one great-grandson: Tashan Bunker of Aberdeen, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday evening, November 8, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 9, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Union Methodist Church, Aberdeen, MD. Rev. Mercer-Staton will officiate.
