Nell Church

Nell Church, 66 of North East, MD, died Monday, June 15, 2009 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Grundy, VA, on December 8, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and the late Myrtle Stiltner Davis. Mrs. Church was the beloved wife of Vernon Church, Jr. of North East, MD. She was a cashier in the cafeteria at Chrysler Corp. She enjoyed working and traveling, especially to Disney World and Canada. In addition to her loving husband she is survived by her children: Wanda McKinney and her husband Steve of Fair Hill, MD and Timothy Church of North East, MD; four sisters: Jeanette Brewster, Loretta Dawson, Shirley Keene all of VA, Ruby Beebe of FL and one brother: Ray Davis of VA; 4 grandsons: Eric and Ryan Church, Phillip McHenry, Stephen McKinney; and 2 great grandchildren: Ivy and Bradley Church. Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
