Neil Theodore Phelps, Iii

Neil Theodore Phelps III, 65 passed away unexpectedly April 20, 2022 at his home in Rising Sun, MD. He was the son of the late Neil & Fay Phelps-Dugan (Dewar).

Neil attended Nether Providence High School in Wallingford, PA and enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, achieving the rank of Corporal. He was Honorably Discharged in 1981 after a motorcycle accident.

He worked at Suburban Materials in Glenolden for many years as a concrete truck driver. He recently bought his first home and was so proud to be a home owner and of his 2 cats, Tigger & Ralph.

Neil is survived by his brother: Paul, nieces: Erica, Ashleigh and Devon, and a nephew: Joshua. His sisters: Cynthia and Barbara pre-deceased him.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Private interment will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Washington Crossing National Veterans Cemetery, Newtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Neil be made to Elkton Vet Center, in care of the funeral home.
