Nancy L. (Watson) Runyon

Nancy L. Runyon, 76 of Elkton, MD, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 in Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on March 30, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Wilson) Watson.  She was the wife of the late Floyd Runyon who passed May 10, 1996.

Prior to her retirement, Nancy worked as a manager in Textile Services for Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

She was a longtime member of Union UM Church, Elkton, MD and enjoyed dancing.

Survivors include her two daughters: Melanie Gilley (Robert) of Elkton, MD and Helen Brasure (Danny) of Johnson City, TN; 6 grandchildren: Autumn, Summer, Alexis, Colton, Savanah and Pete.  She is also survived by several great grandchildren with one on the way.

Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Cheryl Snyder will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11:00 am at Union UM Church, 440 Union Church Road, Elkton, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow services in the church cemetery.
