Nancy D'Amora Pertain

Nancy Pertain, 89 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, December 24, 2004 in the Calvert Manor Health Care Center. Born in College Point, NY, on March 21, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Carmella Creci D'Amora. Mrs. Pertain was an entrepreneur and worked to the age of 85. She was the wife of the late, John J Pertain, who died in 1998. She is survived by her children; Margaret Joan Tait, Washington, MI, Patricia Ann Bennett, Selden, NY, and Charles E Pertain, Elkton, MD; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph D'Amora of FL, and Mildred Wilson of NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 11:00 AM, at St. Jude
