Nancy Lou (Hieronimus) Godin

Nancy Lou Godin, 79 of North East, MD, died Sunday, October 11, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Baltimore, MD, on September 2, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Robert and the late Catherine (Maxwell) Hieronimus.  She was the wife of the late Stephen Godin.

Nancy enjoyed crocheting baby blankets, knitting, sewing, bowling and playing bingo.

She is survived by seven daughters: Serafina Manfre of Huntsville, AL, Nancy A. Leizear of North East, MD, Dawn Hamilton of Havre de Grace, MD, Joy Manfre of Cordova, MD, Lisa Sykes of Hampstead, MD, Bernadette Regan of Ft. Worth, TX, Pamela Manfre of Parkville, MD; a stepsister: Dolly Barrows and stepbrother: Richard Hieronimus both of Baltimore, MD; a half-sister, Barbara Ann Shoemaker also of Baltimore, MD; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church, 315 South Main Street, North East, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to either the American Lung Association or Alzheimer’s Association, both in care of Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD  21901.
