Mollie W. Ivins

Mollie W. Ivins, 91 of North East, MD, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Elkton Care and Rehab, Elkton, MD. Born in North East, MD on May 22, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and the late Elizabeth R. Phillips Williams. She was the wife of the late Rollison M. 'Rolly' Ivins who passed on Nov. 30, 2002. Mollie retired from the ASCS Office in Elkton, MD with over 20 years of service. She also had previously worked at Silvers Cannery in Marysville. She was a Lifetime Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 194, Rising Sun, MD; Cecil County Farm Bureau, Soil Conservation and various other services. Survivors include her children: Gail I. Mackeprang of North East, MD and Alan Terry Ivins of Elsmere, DE; her grandsons: James, Matthew and Mark Mackeprang; and her great grandchildren: Abagail, Victoria and Andrew Mackeprang. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow services in Bay View Cemetery, North East, MD.
