Mildred J. "Jackie" (Rawlings) Rowles

Mildred J. “Jackie” Rowles, 82 of Milton, DE, died Friday, June 6, 2014 at home.

Born in Loudon County, VA on July 13, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William Marshall and Mildred (Hoge) Rawlings.

Mrs. Rowles was an Executive Secretary at the University of Delaware for 31 years before retiring. She also enjoyed reading.

Jackie is survived by her husband: James Rowles, Milton, DE; son: David Allison, Elkton, MD; two daughters: Susan DiSabatino of Fallston, MD and Marian Roberts of Chatham, VA; and a sister: Merrie Creasy of Westminster, MD. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may call from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any of the following charities; Compassionate Care Hospice, Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, or No Kill Animal Shelter, all in care of the funeral home.
