Mildred K. Pennington

Mildred K. Pennington, 89 of Charlestown, MD, died Sunday, August 26, 2007 in the Sun Bridge Nursing Home, Elkton, MD. Born in Newark, DE, on April 4, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Earl and the late Maggie Crossan Porter. She was the wife of the late John Entwistle Pennington who died on March 3, 2007. She is survived by one daughter: Joan E. Berry of Media, PA and one son: John E. Pennington of Newark, DE; four sisters: Elizabeth Hale of Charlestown, MD; Hannah McMaster of Aston, PA; Jean Thompson of Bradenton, FL; and Vivian Allison of Wilmington, DE; also 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may call starting at 1:00 PM. Rev.
