Mildred Tamargo Letts
Born in Brooklyn, NY, on July 28, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Sandy and the late Elivra (Schwerdtman) Tamargo.
She was a self-employed hairdresser.
Mrs. Letts was a member of the Ladies Aux. of NEVFD and was inducted into the Harford Cecil Hall of Fame – Ladies Aux. She was also a member of the Otter Point Yacht Club, Abingdon, MD and the North East Lions Club. She enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include her daughter: Carol Letts Smith of Warwick, MD; three grandchildren: Alisa Barclay of Elkton, MD, Laura Jean Smith of Bel Air, MD, Robert Allan Smith of Las Vegas, NV; one great granddaughter: Victoria Lynn Handy of Bel Air, MD; and one great-great granddaughter: Isabella Christine Morrow of Bel Air, MD.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 12:00 Noon.
