Mildred Dorothy (Schofield) George

Mildred Dorothy (Schofield) George, age 80 of Elkton, MD went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 25, 2017.

She was born on January 9, 1937 in Wilmington, DE, to George Schofield and Sophia (Chambers) Schofield of DE.

Mildred graduated from Newark High School and Philadelphia Bible College and was retired from Bank of New York.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years: Floyd C. George, Jr. who passed on May 21, 2015.

She is survived by two sons: David F. George and wife Mary, Wally George and wife Patti all of Elkton, MD; daughter: Linda Turner of DE; and several grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Union Cemetery, 922 Union Church Road, Elkton, MD.
