Michael L. Kyte
He was born in Havre de Grace, MD, on October 30, 1966. He was a self-employed carpenter, for MLR Contractors.
Michael was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Mason Dixon Post 194, Rising Sun, MD and the AMA. He enjoyed racing four wheelers, baseball, golf and ‘cutting a rug’ on the dance floor.
Survivors include his daughter: Rachel A. Kyte of Elkton, MD; father: John W. Kyte, Sr. of Rising Sun, MD; 4 siblings: John W. Kyte, II of Elkton, MD, Kathy L. Hines of North East, MD, Pamela J. Maxwell of Elkton, MD and David C. Kyte of North East, MD; his companion: Carol Melber of Rising Sun, MD; the mother of Rachel: Lisa K. of Elkton, MD; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Mary Lee (Reynolds) Simmons; his maternal grandparents: George M. and Viola M. Reynolds; and his paternal grandparents: Conley and Villa Kyte
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon until service time.
Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
