Maxine (Everett) Barton

Maxine Barton, 73 of North East, MD, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 in the Christiana Care, Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

Born in Elkton, MD, on November 11, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Estella (Titter) Everett.

Maxine is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years: Robert "Buddy" Barton; her daughter: Estella Cox of North East, MD; grandchildren: Selina Creswell, Larry Creswell III, Christopher Creswell and Sabrina Creswell; 3 sisters: Kathy Gatchell, Martha McSwain and Nancy Hopkins; and 3 great grandchildren: Serenidy, Ella and Charley.

Funeral service will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
