Mattie Bottomley Mckinney

Mattie Bottomley McKinney, age 86 of North East, Maryland, died Saturday, July 19, 2003 in SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation Center, Elkton, Maryland. Born in Millington, Maryland on November 6, 1916, she was a daughter of the late, Harry Bottomley and Agnes Pinion Bottomley. She was a resident of Cecil County, Maryland for many years. Mrs. McKinney retired from the DuPont Company as an Assembly Line Worker. She was a member of the North East United Methodist Church, North East, Maryland. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McKinney was preceded in death by her husband, George S. McKinney who died in 1955 and a sister, Anna Bottomley Buckingham who died July 17, 2003. She is survived by a daughter, Jennie Mae McKinney Caldwell, Alabama; two grandchildren, George Caldwell and Kelli Anne Caldwell, two great-grandchildren, sister, Mary Bottomley Pearson, and a brother, Earl Bottomley both of Millington, Maryland. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland where family and friends may call one hour prior to services and Tuesday evening, July 22, 2003 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Rev. Boyd B. Etter of the North East United Methodist Church, 308 South Main Street, North East, Maryland will officiate. Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, Maryland.
