Marylee Owens

Marylee Owens, 72 of North East, MD, died Sunday, January 1, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong resident of North East, she was born on December 4, 1939, the daughter of the late Charles D. and the late Bertha Heverin Palmer. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Samuel J. Owens, Sr.; 2 sons: Samuel J. Owens, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Conowingo, MD and Michael T. Owens and his wife Virginia of North East, MD; 8 siblings: Verna McKinney, Louise Fillippone, Teresa Heath, Selma Harvey, Jack Palmer, Fred Palmer, Jerry Palmer and Gino Palmer; 3 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services, conducted by Father Samuel Hartman will be held Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD with visitation for family and friends beginning at 2:00 PM until service time. Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help with funeral expenses to Crouch Funeral Home, P.A.
