Mary (Burnett) Ulary

Mary Ulary, 87 of North East, MD, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023 in the Christiana Care, Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

Born in Unionville, PA on February 9, 1935, she was the daughter of the late, Charles B. Burnett and Eleanor Mae Davis and the wife of the late, George H. Ulary who passed February 9, 1996.

Before retirement, Mary was a teacher’s aide for North East Elementary School, North East, MD and Perryville Elementary School, Perryville, MD. She was a member of St. Mary Anne’s Episcopal Church, North East, MD, the North East Women’s Civic League and the Red Hat Society.

Mary is survived by her daughters: Jenny Cyran (Tim) of North East, MD, Melissa Licharowicz of Glenville, PA and Georganna Ulary (Joseph Campisi) of Tivoli, NY; grandchildren: Josh (Deanna), Jake, Isaac, Hannah, Phoebe (Joe), Judah (Melina), Inez and Zola; and siblings: Katie Reynolds of North East, MD, Carol Williams of Elkton, MD and Don Burnett of Milford, DE.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her sisters: Esther Burnett and Ruth Nester.

Visitations will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland 21901.

Funeral service will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Anne’s Episcopal Church, 315 S. Main Street, North East, Maryland 21901, with a viewing beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow services in Hart's United Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Cecil County Library, in care of Crouch Funeral Home, P.A.
