Mary S. (Simpson) Boddy
A lifelong resident of Elkton, she was born on April 17, 1951, the daughter of the late Howard and the late Juanita (Hysell) Simpson. She was the wife of the late Rodney L. Boddy who died on Sept. 1, 2004.
Mary was a Hostess, at the Waffle House in Elkton. She enjoyed all types of animals and gardening. Most of all she loved her family and the time they all spent together.
She is a loving mother, survived by her 6 children: Christine Malcolm, William Matthew Boddy, Meredith Boddy all of Elkton, MD, Karla Boddy of Aberdeen, MD, Rodney L Boddy, Jr. of Rising Sun, MD and Annette Boddy of Phoenixville, PA; 4 siblings: William Simpson of Rising Sun, MD, Howard Simpson, Paul Simpson, Sr. and Zelda Whiteside all of Elkton, MD; 34 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister: Harriett Buckwater.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery.
