Mary Maxine Ramsey

Mary Maxine Ramsey, 47 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away after a courageous battle with lung cancer on Thursday, October 15, 2015 in John Hopkins Bay View Medical Center, Baltimore, MD.

A lifelong resident of Cecil County, she was born in Elkton on October 30, 1967.  She was the daughter of the late John Louis Harvey who died in 2002 and the late Ruby Marie Harvey who died in 1969.

Mary devoted her whole life to her family.  She especially loved spending time with her  grandchildren, her “Angels”.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years: Lloyd “Neil” Ramsey; one son: Keith Ramsey of Rising Sun, MD; one daughter: Kelly Dill of Cecilton, MD; her 4 grandchildren: Mackenzie Allen, Derrick Ramsey, Bentley Ramsey and Marielle Dill; 6 siblings: Joan Bones of PA; John Harvey and William Harvey, both of MD; Judy Turner of OH; Ruby Perry and Gary Harvey both of MD.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation will be held on Monday evening, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
