Mary Emma Racine

Mary Emma Racine, 99 of Rising Sun, MD, died Thursday, February 4, 2010 in the Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, MD where she was a 20 year resident. Born in Town Point, MD, on February 18, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and the late Eleanor Conlyn Racine. She retired after 40 years of service at the DuPont Company in Wilmington, DE where she was a stenographer and trade analyst. She attended Beacom College in Wilmington, DE, Shelemiah United Methodist Church in Bay View, MD and the Rising Sun Senior Citizens. Private family burial will be held Monday, February 8, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Friends Cemetery, Calvert, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Calvert Manor Nursing Scholarship or Shelemiah United Methodist Church, both in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901.
