Mary Ada Mullins, 80 of Elkton, MD, started her new journey of eternity on February 3, 2022. She was born March 23, 1941 in Louisville, KY, until the age of 13 where she resided in Elkton, MD.
Mary was a homemaker for many years, she worked at the Bayou Restaurant in Havre de Grace, MD for 7 years. She enjoyed setting up at the flea markets with her husband and in their free time going yard saleing. She also had a creative talent for setting up and decorating events, whether it be for a wedding, birthday or family function. She always knew how to turn something so simple into something beautiful. She loved working with her husband in the flower garden. At family functions she was known as the coleslaw queen, we sure loved her food! Mary loved spending time with her family and of course gossiping, she had to know everything. Mary was a community person, she loved helping the homeless, making sure they had food and something to keep them warm. If anything, she will be most remembered for being the backbone to our crazy, loving family. Family was everything to her, it did not matter what it was or what we did she was always there and able to help with no hesitation.
Mary is survived by her daughter: Lycinda Clem and her husband Bryant; son: Amos Mullins, Jr.; grandchildren: Jessica and Keith Clem, Matthew, Luke and Mark Jackson; great grandchildren: Destiny, Trinity, Skaylar, Renesmee and many other amazing great grandchildren; she loved dearly her cat Raylin and many nieces and nephews she was close with.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years: Amos Mullins, Sr.; son: Jerry Jackson, Jr.; stepson: David Mullins; sister: Viola Carter; brother: Henry Mauk; her mother, father, grandsons and many other family members she loved and cherished dearly.
