Mary Elizabeth Ferguson

Mary Elizabeth Ferguson, 88 of North East, MD, died Sunday, March 9, 2008. Born in North East, MD, on June 7, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and the late Mary E. Hartenstine Fergueson. She retired from the Perry Point VA Medical Center, working in the Mail Room. She was a member of the North East Fire Co. Ladies Aux., and the North East United Methodist Church. Survivors include: two nephews: Charles Preston, Jr. of Elkton, MD; Steve Preston of Eastern Shore, MD; four nieces, Mary Preston of North East, MD; Patricia Hasting of Essex, MD; Lisa Hikleman of Havre de Grace, MD; and Linda Metz of Baltimore, MD; a great-nephew, Charles Preston, III; and a great-niece: Brianna Hikleman. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister, Lillian Preston and her nephew Charles "Potter" Preston, Sr. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may call on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Rev. Daniel T. Gedman will officiate. Interment will be in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
