Mary Virginia Edmanson

Mary Virginia Edmanson, age 95, of North East, Maryland, passed away Friday, April 2, 2004 at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, Maryland. She was born June 23, 1908, in North East, Maryland to the late, John Starett Russell and Anna Kline. Mrs. Edmanson was a seamstress for Nannette's in Elkton, Maryland. She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church, North East, Maryland, and a member of the Leslie Homemakers. Survivors include; 2 daughters, Vivian Edmanson, Carolyn M. Kirk and her husband, William C. Kirk, all of North East, Maryland; her brother, Homard Russell, North East, Maryland; 2 grandchildren, Kevin Kirk and his wife, Dolores, Elkton, Maryland, Amy Dirk-Fostier and her husband, Xavier Fostier, Rising Sun, Maryland; 4 great-grandsons, Nathan and Brian Kirk, William and Christopher Fostier. Mrs. Edmanson was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James Albert Edmanson, who died in 1990, also by her siblings, Myrtle Deamond, Lillian Smith, Leora Russell and Matthew Russell. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2004 2:00 PM at, Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland, visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. The Rev. Sumner Jones, Bethel United Methodist Church, North East, Maryland will officiate. Interment will be in North East Methodist Cemetery.
