Mary Jane Barrett

Mary Jane Barrett, of North East, MD, died Peacefully at home on Thursday, February 26, 2009. Born in Denver, CO on April 25, 1922, she was the daughter of William Dale and Mercedes Brown Dale. She grew up in Boone, Iowa and traveled with the USO during WW II. She married Frank Barrett and they moved East in 1952. They lived in Paoli, PA. In 1971 they moved to North East, MD. She is survived by her four children, Jim and Carolyn Barrett of Oconomowak, WI, Frank and Diane Barrett of Quarryville, PA, Tim and Patti Barrett of Lincoln University, PA, Virginia and Rick Patchell of North East, MD. Also survived by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was a homemaker. Memorial service will be held Monday, March 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where friends may call from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Rev. John Hornberger will officiate.
