With heavy hearts, the family of Mary Ann Reynolds announces her passing on Friday, May 29, 2026, at her home in Elkton, Maryland. She was 84 years old.
Mary Ann was born in Elkton on January 1, 1942, to the late Clarence and Helen (Marvel) Webb. A lifelong Cecil County resident, she was known for her kind heart, strong work ethic, and devotion to her family and friends.
For many years, Mary Ann worked as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Hsu, where she enjoyed caring for patients and building lasting friendships with those she worked alongside. She took pride in helping others and was always willing to lend a hand when someone needed it.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Robert C. Reynolds Sr., who passed away on June 16, 2012.
She leaves behind her children, Dennis Reynolds (Dottie) of North East, Maryland, Melissa "Missy" Reynolds of Elkton, Maryland, Leah Delp (Elton) of Colora, Maryland, and Robert C. Reynolds Jr. (Susan) of Elkton, Maryland. She was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her tremendous joy.
More than anything, Mary Ann loved her family. Mary Ann’s life was deeply centered around her family, especially her children and their activities growing up in North East. She spent countless hours at North East Little League, never missing a chance to watch her children play baseball, often staying until the games ended under the lights. She was also a constant presence at football games at North East High School. She played an important role in supporting the North East High School football program and was very involved with the Touchdown Club when it was active. Being there for her kids wasn’t just something she did, it was something she truly loved. Mary Ann and her husband Bob, were active with the North East Water Festival for many years. She will be remembered for her caring nature, her strength, and the love she shared with those around her.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lauren and Mattie of Amedisys Hospice for the compassionate care and support they provided during Mary Ann’s final days.
