Marie Theresa Nolan

Marie Theresa Nolan, 84 of Newark, DE, formerly of Greenbank, near Perryville, MD, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on March 19, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Kathleen Ryan Smith. Mrs. Nolan was the beloved wife of Paul R. Nolan of Newark, DE. Mrs. Nolan was a member of Homemakers of MD; and looked forward to every Monday at the Church House and quilting on Tuesdays, winning first place ribbons for her quilting. She attended and volunteered at Principio United Methodist Church, and was a member of Union Hospital of Cecil County Ladies Aux., working at the Fair Hill Races and in the Gift Shop. In addition to her husband, survivors include: her children: Paul Leo Nolan of Claymont, DE; Renee Hugues of Lewisville, PA; two sisters: Kathleen Kingsing of Largo, FL; Theresa DeChiara of Holmes, PA; and 5 grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Marie Nolan, mother of Renee' and Stanley Coleman. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends starting at 10:00 AM. Rev. Rudy Sackett will officiate. Interment will be in Principio Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
