Marie Curry Jones

Marie "Rita" Curry Jones, 77 of Philadelphia, PA, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in the Mercy-Fitzgerald Hospital, Darby, PA. A lifelong resident of Philadelphia, PA, she was born on May 23, 1933, the daughter of the late Robert L. and the late Marie Benjamin Curry. She enjoyed life, cooking, but most of all she enjoyed her family. Survivors include her children: Celestine Hall of Elkton, MD, Darrell Jones of Philadelphia, PA, Adrian Mohamed of Roxsbury, MA, Yvette Jones of Philadelphia, PA and Ralph Jones of Philadelphia, PA; 2 sisters: Sondra Jones of Pomeroy, PA, Toya Onley of Philadelphia, PA; a son-in-law, Lorenzo Hall, Sr. of Elkton, MD; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; 5 sister-in-laws, 6 brother-in-laws and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two daughters, Benita and Deborah Jones and her husband Ralph Jones, Jr. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Lorenzo Hall will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM.
