Marian Irene Riesberg

Marian Irene Riesberg, 96 of Elkton, MD, died Sunday, August 10, 2008 at home. Born in Quakertown, PA, on December 10, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and the late Mary Estella Naudascher Trumbauer. She was the wife of the late James Riesberg who died in May 1980. Mrs. Riesberg was a member of Clifton Heights United Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting, reading and was very active in her church's social groups. Survivors include two daughters: Carolyn Corbett of Georgetown, MA, Kathy Parsio of Elkton, MD; 5 grandchildren: Tracy, Lauren, Cheryl, Sandra and Don; 8 great grandchildren: Kelsey, Zachary, Sarah, Ryan, Nicholas, Aaron, Julia and Jack; and 5 siblings: Stan, Gladys, Phyllis, Bill and Kenny, all of PA. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by 6 siblings: May, Clinton, Bob, Harold, Phoebe and Dorothy. Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM at First United Church of Christ, 151 4th Avenue, Quakertown, PA, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Pastor Ann Park will officiate. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Quakertown, PA.
