Maria E. (Neumaier) Evans
Born in Echternach, Luxembourg, on May 27, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Guillaume and the late Angelica (Floring) Neumaier. She was the wife of the late Richard W. Evans who died June 20, 2010.
A resident of Cecil County for 57 years, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perryville. She worked as a seamstress and enjoyed sewing and cooking.
Mrs. Evans is survived by two sons: Frank W. Evans and his wife Araceli and Timothy W. Evans and his wife Dawn both of North East, MD; 1 sister: Georgette Shields-Neumaier of Echternach, Luxembourg and 1 brother: Alfred Neumaier of Altrier, Luxembourg; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Dr. John M.R. Gauger will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Perryville, 4800 West Pulaski Highway, Perryville, MD with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM until service time.
Interment will follow in Charlestown Cemetery, Charlestown, MD.
