Margy Irene (Alexander) Morgan

Margy Irene Morgan, 91 of Elkton, MD, died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at home surrounded with love.

Born in Elk Neck, MD, on March 16, 1921, she was the daughter of the late David and the late Susie Alva (Sharp) Alexander.  She was the last of 13 siblings.

She had worked at Elkton Sparkler and the North East Laundromat.The last years of her life she enjoyed the companionship of her grand-dog Dolly.

Survivors include her children: Janet Sue Moore of Hampton, SC, Robert Morgan, Sr. and his wife Pegeen of Milford, DE, Cynthia Johnson of Elkton, MD;  grandchildren
Rhonda Moore Johnson, Tracey Morgan VanRees and the late Robert Morgan, Jr. and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Mervin J. Morgan, who died in 1968.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Paul Thomas will be held Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
