Margaretta Madge White

Margaretta Madge White age 87 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 22, surrounded by her family. Born September 3, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA, she lived in Elkton, MD for most of her life. Mom Mom loved spending time sitting at the kitchen table visiting with her family and her best friend Terry Dell. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy of her life. She is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas White, her daughter, Madge Dell and husband Richard; and her son, Tom White and wife Terry . She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mom Mom was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Emma Chevers and her sisters, Mary Emma Cooper and Dorothy Thorn. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Bert Jicha will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in North East United Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD. Relatives and friends are invited back to North East United Methodist Church, 308 South Main Street, North East, MD following interment.
