Margaret Jane (Walker) Jacobs

Margaret Jane Jacobs of Elkton, MD was promoted to glory on May 7, 2024 at the age of 85. Margaret was the daughter of the late John and Annie Florence Walker, immigrants from Northern Ireland. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA.

Margaret enjoyed raising her daughter and taking care of her family.

Margaret was married to the late Henry “Jake” Jacobs for 65 years and is survived by her sister, Florence Houseman of Newtown, PA, daughter, Nancy Moore [Dave] of Elkton, MD, six grandchildren: Jonathan [Susanna], Emily, Andrew, Jessica, Hannah, and Madeline, and one great grandchild: Liam Henry. Margaret was predeceased by her brother, John Walker.

Margaret and Jake moved to Elkton, MD in 1998 to be near their daughter and her family.

Margaret was a member of Elkton United Methodist Church.
