Margaret A. (Blevins) Eveland
Born in Crumpler, NC, on February 24, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Isaac S. and the late Ola (Pope) Blevins. She was the wife of the late Nelson S. Eveland who died Jan. 31, 1997.
Mrs. Eveland retired from Bata Shoe Company where she worked as a seamstress.
She was a member of North East Senior Citizens and Shelemiah UM Church, Bay View, MD.
She enjoyed gardening, canning, bingo and playing cards. Most of all she loved her family and taking care of them even enjoying doing laundry and the dishes!
Survivors include: her children: Ronald L. Wiseman (Betty) of Bear, DE, Patty Marrero (Bill) of Conway, NC, Jim Wiseman of Conway, NC, Roger Eveland of North East, MD and Brenda Gardner of North East, MD; a stepson: Bill Eveland of North East, MD; 5 siblings: Gertha Blevins of Bay View, MD, Ruth Vincent of North East, MD, Joy Mitchell of Bay View, MD, Harold Blevins of Elkton, MD and Evelyn Armour of Bay View, MD; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Eveland was also preceded in death by 2 siblings: Mary Armour and Isaac Blevins and 1late granddaughter.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Interment will follow services in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Eveland, Kyle Gardner, Allen Wiseman and Zackary Wiseman.
