Mae Ethel (Schoener) Breiner

Mae Ethel Breiner, 97 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away at home surrounded by her family Saturday, March 30, 2024.

Born in Walker Township, PA, on July 6, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Bertha (Koch) Schoener. She was the wife of the late, Carl E. Breiner who passed in 1992.

Mae enjoyed traveling through all of the States and taking trips to Europe, Australia and New Zealand. She enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful flowers.

She is survived by her children: Joanne Sheriff (Seth) of Rising Sun, MD and Richard Breiner (Leslie) of Maumee, OH; siblings: Dwight Schoener of Tamaqua, PA, Grace Smyth (Jim) of Carlisle, PA and Lenny Schoener (Lynette) of Camp Hill, PA; 4 granddaughters and 10 great grandchildren.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Grace Bible Chapel, 1949 Joseph Biggs Highway, Rising Sun, MD 21911 and One Mission Society, 941 Fry Road, Greenwood, IN 46142.
