Louise Bessie (Shackelford) Greer

Louise Bessie Greer, 80 of Newark, DE, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 in the Laurelwood Healthcare Center, Elkton, MD.

Born in Harlan, KY, on August 19, 1940, she was the daughter of the late William Shackelford and Geneva (Anderson) Pulley.

Louise was the wife of 52 years of the late Ray Greer who passed in 2016.

She is survived by one son: Frankie Greer; a brother: Jess Shackelford; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.  Due to the current VOVID restrictions, there will be a celebration of her life scheduled at a later date.
