Louie Andrew Blake

Louie Andrew "Buck" Blake, 62, of Elkton, MD, died Thursday, April 14, 2005 in the Union Hospital Of Cecil County, Elkton, MD.Born in Richwood, WV, on June 18, 1942, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Blake. Mr. Blake served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict and he worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching wrestling and boxing; and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the late, Cora Mae Blake who died in 2000, and his son, the late Dennis Mitchell. Survivors include his children, Guy Blake and his wife Linda, Terry Douglas and husband Jim, all of Elkton, MD, Diane Keefer and husband Eddie of Peachbottom, PA, Patricia Timko and husband Steve of Tazwell, VA; sisters, Muriel "Pat" Blake of Elkton, MD, Margaret Holmes of Summersville, WV; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 17, 2005, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Visitation will be held the same day from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will be private in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
