Lorraine R. Snekenberg

Lorraine R. Snekenberg, 86 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, March 6, 2009 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Brooklyn, NY, on January 19, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Fred and the late Myrtle Goodhue Thomas. She was the wife of the late John Leonard Snekenberg who died on January 25, 2001. She is survived by one daughter: Karen Lewis and her husband Bill of North East, MD; grandchildren: William Lewis, Jr. of Boston, MA; David Lewis of Perryville, MD; and Michelle Lewis of Perryville, MD; and her great grandchildren: Nicole Lewis; Meghan Lewis; William Lewis; and Jenna Lewis. Friends may call Monday, March 9, 2009 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Father Samuel Hartman will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary Anne's Cemetery, North East, MD.
