Lois Ruth Beck

Lois Ruth Beck, 89 of North East, MD, died Monday, December 31, 2007 in the Ware Presbyterian Village, Oxford, PA. Born in Westmoreland County, PA, on February 15, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John R. and the late Ada Beeson Marshall. She was the wife of the late Merlin S. Beck. Mrs. Beck was a retired clerk from Vee's Newstand in Youngwood, PA. She was a member of the St. Luke's Lutheran Church Women's Group in Youngwood, PA. She is survived by one daughter: Ann B. Gompers of Port Deposit, MD and one son: John W. Beck of Centreville, MD; one sister: Norma Stockdale of Chagrin Falls, OH; and four grandchildren.
