Lloyd R. Ingerson, Sr., 70 of Rising Sun, MD, died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE with his loving family by his side.
Born in West Patterson, NJ, on July 8, 1942, he was the son of the late Malvina (Lajeunesse) Ingerson, the late Wendell Ingerson and his late stepmother, Grace Ingerson. Mr. Ingerson was the beloved husband of Linda L. Ingerson of Rising Sun, MD.
He served his country in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Ingerson worked as a HVAC Tech for Alger Oil, Rising Sun, MD. He was a member of the American Legion Post 194 of Rising Sun. He enjoyed woodworking, tinkering and watching NASCAR. Most of all, he loved camping and spending time with his family.
In addition to his loving wife, survivors include 2 sons: Lloyd R. Ingerson, Jr. (Linda Swank) of Kirkwood, PA and Gary N. Ingerson (Donna) of Conowingo, MD; his siblings: Wayne Ingerson, Leon Ingerson, Joyce Fleming, Heidi Barteau; a stepbrother: Lonnie Davis; 6 grandchildren: Joshua Brown (Jennifer), Lindsay Trinks (Michael), Megan Kammerer, Kyle Ingerson, Hannah Ingerson, Lloyd R. Ingerson, III; and 1 great grandchild on the way.
Funeral services, conducted by his grandson, Pastor Joshua Brown will be held Monday, December 17, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until service time.
Interment with full military honors will follow services in Bay View Cemetery, North East, MD.
