Lizzetta Logan Rhudy

Lizzetta Logan Rhudy, 81, North East, MD, died Friday, April 1, 2005, in the Union Hospital Of Cecil County, Elkton, MD.Born in North East, MD on January 2, 1924, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Martha B. Goodnow Logan.Mrs. Rhudy was a 1940 graduate of North East High School. She worked as a secretary for both the Bay View and North East Elementary Schools. She was a member of the North East United Methodist Church. Her love of music was reflected in her playing of the violin and her solos in NEMC presentations of "The Messiah." She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the North East Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the American Legion Unit #15, Elkton, MD, and a 16 year volunteer at Perry Point VA Medical Center.She is survived by her husband of 60 years, George Rhudy of North East, MD; 2 daughters and son-in-laws, Sharon and Charles Rosenberg and Bonnie and Ken Simmons; and grandchildren, Logan and Morgan Rosenberg.Funeral services will be held11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, April 4, 2005, at the funeral home.Rev. Daniel Gedman of North East United Methodist Church will officiate.
