Lisa Gaye Ewing

Lisa Gaye Ewing, 55 of North East, MD, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

Born in Elkton, MD, on August 11, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Richard Lee and Frances Lee (Osborne) Corron.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a custodian for Cecil County Public Schools.

Lisa was a member of Charlestown Missionary Baptist Church and Mercy Missionary Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her nieces, nephews, children, and grandchildren. Family was her greatest treasure. Her greatest gift was the love and laughter she brought to all she met.

She is survived by two sons: Eric Church (Samantha) of Chestertown, MD and Timothy Ryan Church of Elkton, MD; her siblings: Gary Corron (Rose), Larry Corron (Darlene) and Bruce Corron; a sister-in-law: Kathy Corron; brother-in-law: David Brinton; uncle: Frank Corron (Connie); aunt: Linda Dietzel (Joseph); several nieces, nephews, and her 7 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands: Timothy Church and Sherman Ewing; a brother; Ronald D. Corron; and her sister: Lynnette D. Brinton.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Elkton VFW Post 8175, 208 West High Street, Elkton, MD.
