Linda L. (Stevens) Sadler

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Sadler, who departed this life on April 20, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born in Kanawha County, WV on June 24, 1947.  After moving up here when she was young, she lived in PA, DE before finally settling in Conowingo, MD for the last 34 years.  Linda was a cherished mother, beloved grandmother, and a devoted sister, who spent her life creating lasting memories with family and friends. She will be profoundly missed by those whose lives she touched.

Linda was a vibrant spirit, known for her passion for crafts and her talent for transforming simple materials into beautiful, heartfelt creations. Her joy in crafting was only surpassed by her love for family gatherings.

Linda was preceded in death by her first husband Arthur Davis and second husband Alan Sadler, as well as her parents Bertie and Shirley (Hamby) Stevens. She cherished the time spent with her daughter Roxann Raines (Les Raines), and son Nathan Davis (Virginia Davis), and her grandchildren: Michael Geiss, Jr. (Kori Geiss and daughter Kendall Lovins), Jonathan Davis, Katelyn Lockard, Alexis Beck-Davis, and Courtney Duff. Linda also held her siblings—Peggy Davis, Larry Stevens, April Stevens (sister-in-law), Donna Reagan, and Bonny Harlow—dear to her heart, and her bonds with them were a source of great strength and joy. She was also survived by a lot of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews whom she loved dearly.

A lover of nature and travel, Linda found particular delight in her visits to Tennessee, where the beauty of the landscape and tranquility of the setting mirrored her own peaceful spirit. Her warmth, kindness, and creativity will forever echo in the memories of all who knew her.

In reverence of her life, funeral services will be held at Crouch Funeral Home P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD on Saturday, April 26, 2025. A public viewing will commence at 10:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am.

Burial will be private in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD.

As we gather to celebrate Linda's remarkable life and legacy, we invite all who knew her to join in honoring the beautiful journey she embraced. In her memory, let us carry forward her love for crafts and family, ensuring that her spirit lives on in our hearts.
