Linda Darlene Janes
Born in North East, MD, on January 31, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Rose Janes.
She was a Nurse, employed by Perry Point VA Medical Center, of which she retired from after 35 years of nursing.
Mrs. Janes was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the North East Volunteer Fire Department, North East United Methodist Church.
She loved and appreciated all of the beautiful things nature provided, such as flowers, and birds. She also enjoyed antiques, and was an avid collector of antique plates.
Mrs. Janes will be remembered as someone who had a huge heart and loved to give, especially to the close friends she had over for dinner frequently to socialize.
Survivors include one daughter: Jennifer Brown of North East, MD; 2 sisters: Dorthea Newell of AL, Deborah Booth of Pensacola, FL; 3 grandsons: Aaron and his wife Ashley, Shaun, Ethan; 1 great grandson: Bryson.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 1:00 pm.
