Linda Winters Hibberd

Age 50 of North East, Maryland, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004 in Newark, Delaware. Linda was born in ELkton, Maryland, December 3, 1953 to Walter and Thelma Amanda Casteel Winters. Whe was a lifelong resident of Cecil County, Maryland and was a benefits representative for General Motors Corporation, Wilmington, Delaware. She was very involved with her family and loved to spend time with them, involved in their day-to-day activities. In addition to her mother, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Cathy Winters Poppert. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Stephen Hibberd; and children, Rachael Lewis of Elkton and Craig Hibberd and Derek Hibberd, both of North East. She is also survived by siblings, Suzie Morrison of Perryville, Tammy Winters Carroll of Elkton, Edward Winters of Virginia; and grandchildren, Danielle Jedlicka, Paige Jedlicka, and Seth Jedlicka. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, June 2, and the funeral service will be at 11 AM on Thursday, June 3, at the Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland, 21901. Mr. Robert McKnight of Glorious Presence Church in Elkton will officiate, and interment will be in the North East Methodist Cemetery.
