Lillian G. Ruble

Lillian G. Ruble of Sullivan, Missouri, formerly of Elkton, MD, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Lillian was born September 18, 1921 at Boissevain, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Tobias and the late Anna Belle Roland Brinkley. On March 9, 1946, she was united in marriage to Charles Ruble and to this union two children were born. She was a devoted member of the Church of God, Elkton, MD, and found pleasure in all of the activities of the fellowship. Lillian was a devoted mother who loved her children and grandchildren, and was known for her great sense of humor; playing bingo, and dancing were her free-time favorites. Survivors include one son, Charles William Ruble of Truth or Concequences, New Mexico; daughter, Sandra Mueller of Sullivan, Missouri; two sisters, Dot and Maggie; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; other relatives and friends. Along with her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband in 1993; and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where viewing will begin at 10:00 AM.
