Lillian Mae Gilbert

Lillian Mae Gilbert, 63 of Nauvoo, AL, formerly of Delaware City, died Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Born in Buffalo, NY, on September 26, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Henry Irvin and the late Mildred Belle Brosius Roush. She was the wife of the late Dillard A. Gilbert. She retired from the sewing factory in Carbon Hill, AL. She enjoyed reading. Survivors include her children: Janet Lane, Emory Gilbert and Ruth Meadows all of Nauvoo, AL; a sister: Shirley Hodgson of Elkton, MD; and 2 grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 3 siblings: Minnie Belle Roush, Louise Hart and Henry Roush. Visitation for will be private at the convenience of the family.
